How small an engagement will you take?
Four weeks. Below that we cannot learn enough about the system to be useful, and you would be paying for our onboarding.
Do you work with our existing team?
Always. Engagements where we work alone tend to produce a system nobody else can run, which is the failure mode we are trying to avoid.
Who owns the code?
You do, from the first commit. It lives in your repository, under your license, on your infrastructure.
What if we want to change direction mid-project?
We work in two-week increments with a written decision at the end of each. Changing direction costs at most one increment.
Have a system that needs an honest second opinion?
Four weeks of discovery, a written decision, and a costed plan. If the answer is that you do not need us, that is what the document will say.
